Mon CDM council established
On December 1, three groups of staff from education, health and other departments taking part in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) in Mon State jointly formed the Mon State Council of CDM Civil Servants (CCSC-MON).
It was formed to pursue three objectives, in response to the need to organize separately during the Spring Revolution and to establish a body representing CDM civil servants in Mon State.
These are: enabling broader participation of CDM staff from all departments; bringing about interim civil service mechanisms and policies; and establishing a fully capable civil service mechanism.
