People's Revolutionary Alliance
The People's Revolution Alliance (PRA-Magway) was founded on March 28, 2021, by student youths from universities across Magway Region and political activists, and operates in Magway Region. PRA-Magway's aim is to ensure that people's power truly rests in the hands of the people, and to uproot military dictatorship and bring about a federal democratic state. Its vision is the emergence of a new society that is free, fair and equal, based on human existence, dignity and self-determination.
PRA-Magway has pledged to link strategically with EAOs, local People's Defence Teams (PaKaFa), PDFs and STFs and to serve without wavering until the revolution succeeds. Its work includes expanding strength and gathering arms and supplies for the war of resistance, and organizing to make political leadership within Magway Region clearer and stronger.
On November 1, 2022, PRA-Magway announced that, under Article (5) political policy, Article (6) military policy and Article (7) alliance policy of its declaration of position, it would carry out military, political and local administration work together with the National Unity Government's Ministry of Defence. On October 27, 2022, the Chin Defence Force (Mindat) and the People's Revolution Alliance announced that they had formed an alliance. On December 9, 2021, it announced an alliance with Triangle 3T PDF. On November 20, 2021, it announced a brotherhood alliance with the People's Defence Force (Chauk). On November 19, 2021, it announced an alliance with the Asho Chin Defence Force (ACDF). On October 29, 2021, it announced an alliance with the Central Armed Forces (CAF-MGPDF). On October 25, 2021, it announced an alliance with the No Chair guerrilla force. On September 7, 2021, it announced that PRA-Magway and the Bishnu Area People's Defence Army would jointly carry out people's revolutionary activities.

The People's Revolutionary Alliance (PRA-Magway) released a statement of policy position on the Interim Federal Unit on February 10, divided into nine sections namely political, legislation, judiciary, power sharing, relations between federal units, public security, economy and ethnic affairs.
Reactions of revolutionary forces on junta's artillery attacks at Munglai Hkyet IDP camp
Military junta intentionally bombarded Munglai Hkyet IDP Camp near Laiza in Kachin State at 11 pm on 9 October 2023. The indiscriminate attack killed 31 internally displaced persons (IDP) including 13 children and injured more than 20. Most of the deceased are women and girls in the attack that destroyed 50 shelters.
