PSLF

On August 29, the Shweli National Security Committee stated in the "Notification of Military Training" that the Palaung State Liberation Front/Ta'ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) needed an immediate end to the ongoing conflict and if it didn't stop, there would be more ways to stop it and also stated that the group would be responsible for any resulting consequences if the fighting continues.

It was stated that China believed that PSLF/TNLA would cooperate with China to maintain peace and stability in Northern Myanmar and China-Myanmar border areas, and hoped to make efforts to promote peace with China and return to the right track as soon as possible to resolve differences through negotiations, and on that basis, China would play a positive role in helping the peace process in Northern Myanmar and would help in providing the PSLF/TNLA to obtain appropriate legal rights, and interests, and to implement healthy living and development.

The Shweli National Security Committee’s Statement also mentioned that PSLF/TNLA needed to ensure the security and safety of the Chinese border area, Border civilians, and Chinese citizens inside Burma and their businesses, to eliminate the military activities that could harm the peace and stability of China border areas and the lives and properties of Chinese citizens.
