MSFC stated that there was no alternative way but armed resistance

The MonState Federal Council (MSFC) stated on the 77th Mon National Day on February 25th, saying that it was becoming increasingly difficult to stand up to the terrorist military group's attempts to force the young Mon men into the military through the conscription law and that there is no other way to gain political power for our people except through armed resistance.

The statement also said that regardless of how literature, language, and cultures are preserved, if political power is not grasped, we will face the loss of our national identity and ethnicity every day. MSFC formed the Mon State Revolution Force (MSRF) by a group of political and social associations in Mon State and they are working together with other Mon Forces, and the allied forces to fight.
