NUG and KPICT Meet to Strengthen All Sectors During the Revolution
The National Unity Government (NUG) Alliance Relations Committee and the Kachin Political Interim Coordination Team (KPICT) met on November 30 to review military, political, foreign affairs and service work during the Spring Revolution, to strengthen the sectors in which they cooperate, and to plan joint next steps toward the success of the revolution.
At the meeting, the KPICT side included a delegation led by General Gun Maw of the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and KPICT Chair Saya Gyi Tu Hkawng, while the NUG side included committee members who are ministers, deputy ministers, advisers and secretaries.

As the Spring Revolution has championed "ending military dictatorship and building a federal democratic union", discussions on the constitution have been taking place since February 2021. Revolutionary forces have rejected and opposed the 2008 Constitution, controversially adopted under military dictatorship, and revolutionary organizations have declared it void. During the revolution, Parts 1 and 2 of the Federal Democracy Charter have been issued and used as a constitutional framework. The roadmap set out in the charter also includes, as one of its stages, drafting a constitution for the post-revolutionary transition period during the revolution itself.
Second People's Assembly Approves Three Resolutions on Pa Thone Lone, Military Conscription and the 1982 Citizenship Law
The NUCC announced that the second People's Assembly, led by the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) and held over five days from April 4 to 9, adopted three resolutions concerning local administration and the rule of law, the terrorist military's illegitimate People's Military Service Law, and the Myanmar Citizenship Law (1982).
