Inclusive Humanitarian Conference Advocacy Paper
Inclusive Humanitarian Conference, which ran from 23 to 26 September, released an advocacy paper on 11 October.
The conference was jointly organized by Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Management under the National Unity Government (NUG), Joint Coordination Committee of Humanitarian Assistance of National Unity Consultative Council which comprises of 15 member organizations and General Strike Coordination Body (GSCB) and was attended by 312 representatives.
The advocacy paper offers recommendations to local groups, international community, donor organizations, governments, United Nations, NGOs, ASEAN, NUG and other related organizations.

After stating a letter No. 003/010/Ga Ga (KaTaNa)/Oo-1 that if it was found that the prohibitions had been violated the punishment up to and including the death penalty would be carried out by local regulations, and receiving severe criticism, the Central Leading Committee of People’s Administrative Team of Kyaw Administrative Unit, Gangaw Township reissued a letter No. 003/010/Gc (Katana)/U-1on December 16 stating that strict action will be taken.
