After the takeover of the city, the Lashio Area Military Administration Committee was formed by the MNDAA
The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) announced that it successfully captured the junta’s Northeastern Regional Military Command headquarters (Ya Ma Kha) in Lashio Town, northern Shan State on 25 July, and the military administration committee was established in Lashio area for the administration, security and defense of the township.
The statement said that MNDAA has taken over the special region (1) administrative committee for the city administration, city security of the special region (1) , and the city defense. In addition, the employees originally in Lashio City should return to perform their duties, Chinese national social organizations have also appealed to the management committee to support them, and MNDAA troops must strictly follow the military order of Lashio, and severe action will be taken if they abuse their positions.
