MNDAA Communique: Six Key Elements for Political Resolution
On December 3, the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) Military Committee issued a six-point position and attitude for the sympathy of the people who suffered from the war, the stabilization of the China-Myanmar border, a political solution to the internal military conflicts and the practical development of peace in the region.
In the statement titled "Declaration of desire to resolve the internal military conflict through political means", the MNTJP/MNDAA stated that it would not establish a new country, would not launch an offensive from today, and would actively cooperate with China's intervention. It is hoped that it will be resolved through political means, but MNDAA will continue to adhere to the right of self-defense as before.

Chapters 5 to 10 cover the structure of the Mandalay region and its legislative, executive and judicial branches, Chapter 11 covers amendment of the arrangement, and Chapter 12 contains general provisions.

AA Responds That Drug Allegations Are Merely Political Attacks
On March 19, the United League of Arakan/Arakan Army (ULA/AA) responded that reports in the military's mouthpiece newspapers of March 18 and 19, claiming that AA economic officer Ye Win (a.k.a. Kyaw Soe Lin) and his wife Ma Thida Myint were involved in a drug seizure worth 96 billion kyat, have nothing to do with its organization and are merely a malicious political attack.
